Eve

So, I thought of showing you guys the step of how I go through to make an artwork. Every artists have their own process. It's not like mine is the absolute one. You can go whichever way you like. This is just to give you an idea. Hope you'll like it. :)

So, I thought of experimenting some color and stuffs. She is Eve. This is the final result. Below are my process of the artwork. Hope you'll get some idea from this. :)

1. The rough sketch. This I do overall with the black color .

2. Lineart - I usually do this using dark brownish-orange color and later I paint underneath keeping the line art layer in multiply mode and opacity around 75-80%.

3. Base Color - Here, I just fill the lineart in a new separate layer underneath.

4. Light And Shadow - Then I color the light and shadow parts. Lighting is important in any painting. I have been doing this for a really long time, but still have problems with the light source and all. Here the light is from the top .

5. Detailing - Then , I detail the character some more. Showing the depth and thickness to give it a bit volumed shape.

6. Blending On Different Parts - Blending is really important as well. Here, I tried blending the hair, face shirt in a light toned color. You can see the reddish tint on the hair and collar as well.

7. Rim Lighting - This will depend on the environment and the type of light your artwork has. You can't add rim lighting everywhere.

8. Enhance - In this step, I mostly try to give the artwork more graceful and appealing look. Like the glow and the colorful paper like particles . I did some color correction here.

9. Get creative - This is the last step I often go overboard with. I like experimenting and stuff. So, here I tried using some grunge textured brushes on it. You can literally do anything at this point that you think would make your work look great.
